Arcopedico footwear was designed and patented in 1966 by Prof. Elio Parodi, founder of ROPAR, Ld in Vila do Conde (Portugal). He is a specialist in anatomy, ergonomics and graduated from the prestigious Zurich polytechnic, in Switzerland. The basic structure of this footwear consists of an upper made from knitted fabric, whose volumetric density is carefully controlled, termed "TECHNO-ELASTIC" and a sole of the foot. This provides the correct line for the vertical axis of the spine. Another feature of Arcopedico footwear which ensures comfort and an unquestionable feeling of well-being is the perfect casing for the foot, thanks to the "hollowed" shape of the whole area supporting the foot. |
